frances lee was approached to create a commissioned set for 'the victorian dinner table: a specially curated exhibition inspired by the vast food heritage within leeds central library's book archive'. the exhibition is in association with leeds indie food festival 2016 and supported by arts council england. it is on display at room 700 exhibition space at leeds central library 5-31 may 2016. other featured artists include lorna borrowclough, biserka, kate mcguire and laura slater. each artist created specially commissioned pieces to be sold with proceeds going to the artists' chosen food charities. the launch event featured delicious and fabulous victorian menu tasting from the delightful head chef at whitelocks ale house (featuring recipes of his own grandma!).
